It was unexpected when CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens spent the opening drive of the Dallas Cowboys' Week 11 game on the bench, not on the field.
The superstar wide receiver duo wasn't hurt, so what was going on?
Reports quickly emerged that it was disciplinary, and on Thursday, Lamb finally provided his full side of the story.
This is what Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News posted on X on Thursday afternoon:
"CeeDee Lamb said he & George Pickens missed curfew before the game at Las Vegas. The two were having dinner and a few drinks at @redrockcasino. Lamb denied he was throwing up at the casino. He said it’s a disrespect to even suggest that. Lamb said he knows how to hold his liquor."

Really some incredible stuff there.
The Cowboys felt they clearly had to enforce curfew even for two of their best players, which is fair.
But the fact that Lamb needed to clarify his overall night-out status is fun, too. "He knows how to hold his liquor" is a great ending to this tweet.
The duo eventually got out on the field and got involved in the action, Pickens to a larger extent than Lamb on this night.
But the Cowboys are certainly happy to have both these guys. They've made life easier on one another and on Dak Prescott.
Sure, Dallas would probably like just a tad more off-the-field discipline.
But receivers will be receivers, and if they show up and do their jobs on Sundays, the Cowboys will probably tolerate the rest.
