The Dallas Cowboys entered Week 15 not sure if they would have star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for the game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Lamb suffered a concussion in the Week 14 loss to the Detroit Lions that looked bad enough that it was thought he would miss at least one game.

However, Lamb is recovering quickly from the concussion, which is certainly great news, and he has a realistic shot to play on Sunday night.

Lamb took a massive step in that direction on Thursday, when he logged a full practice, which is a clear sign of progress through the concussion protocol.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Lamb's final step is getting cleared by an independent neurologist, something that could happen as soon as Friday.

"Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, listed as a full participant in practice for the first time since suffering a concussion, a good sign he is making his way through the protocol," Pelissero said.

"The last step is clearance by an independent neurologist. Does seem like that could come as soon as [Friday], which would put him Lamb on track to play on Sunday night against the Vikings."

It goes without saying this is huge for the Cowboys, who need everyone available — and especially their best players — for what is a crucial game versus the Vikings.

Dallas is still in contention for the NFC East and a wild-card spot, but the former might be the better avenue right now.

Either way, the Cowboys have no margin for error.
