We now have an answer for the Dallas Cowboys' biggest question going into the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has cleared the concussion protocol and will play in Week 15 versus Minnesota.
"Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb has now cleared concussion protocol. He'll play Sunday night vs. Minnesota," Pelissero reported.
Lamb suffered what appeared to be a severe concussion in the Week 14 loss to the Detroit Lions, which led many to believe he'd sit out in Week 15.
However, Lamb showed clear progress over the first two days of the week, with one limited practice on Wednesday and then a full session on Thursday, which were the first hints he'd suit up.
It has been a tough season for Lamb, who has battled injury and drops while also taking a back seat to fellow wideout George Pickens, who has been Dallas' most consistent pass-catcher this season.
But Lamb reminded everyone why he's so valuable the last few weeks, with the star wideout tallying 13 catches for 233 yards and one touchdown in that span. Bear in mind, he exited last week's game early.
The Cowboys desperately needed Lamb because they have so little margin for error in their quest to make the playoffs.
Dallas has an 11% chance to make the postseason and a 9% chance to win the NFC East, according to the New York Times Playoff Simulator.
With so many teams in front of them in the wild-card standings, and with the first-place Philadelphia Eagles struggling, the Cowboys' best path to the postseason is through the NFC East.
We can go over all the scenarios for both avenues, but it's pretty simple for Dallas: win out and hope for the best.
