Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb could be fined for Ja Morant-inspired celebration with George Pickens image

CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are an explosive pairing and not just when they're catching passes.

Since Pickens arrived in Dallas, the two have built a strong connection. A new celebration they debuted at training camps highlights their chemistry.

After Lamb scored a touchdown against the Cowboys' defense, the duo greeted each other with a handshake that referenced NBA stars Ja Morant and Mikal Bridges.

It included finger guns and a fake grenade celebration that Ja Morant debuted in April after being fined for mimicking a gun.

Pickens and Lamb went viral on social media for the celebration but if the NBA fined Morant for it, would the NFL follow suit?

It's a fair question and one that Lamb addressed on Instagram on Wednesday night.

The talented wideouts obviously want to avoid being fined if they execute this handshake in the regular season. But the precedent set in another professional sports league could force the NFL's hand to avoid other players mimicking finger guns.

If Lamb and Pickens want to avoid potentially being fined they will stay away from this celebration altogether. But the early indication is that the duo will push the limits when they take the field.
