Will Quinshon Judkins return in Week 10? Latest injury update on Browns running back image

The Cleveland Browns have an injury concern with running back Quinshon Judkins ahead of their Week 10 game against the New York Jets.

Judkins did play in Week 8 before the team's bye, but he also exited with a shoulder injury, which is why his status is in question going into Week 10.

However, there was a piece of good news on Monday that gives us a hint that Judkins will be able to play on Sunday.

Here's what we know.

Will Quinshon Judkins return in Week 10?

While we don't have a definitive answer, we do know that Judkins was at practice on Monday when the team returned from its bye. What we don't know is how much he participated, as the Browns weren't required to put out an injury report.

"Campbell and Judkins were out there and participating. Everyone else including trade candidates also accounted for," The Athletic's Zac Jackson reported Monday.

Adding to that, head coach Kevin Stefanski said he felt good about Judkins' chances of playing in Week 10.

“Yeah, I do,” Stefanski said. “I feel good about it.”

The Browns will drop their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, and Stefanski should also address the media, so we'll have a better idea of where Judkins stands then.

But, for now, it looks like he's got a very good chance to suit up.

If Judkins doesn't end up playing, we will probably see Jerome Ford, who wasn't traded at the deadline, lead the backfield, with rookie Dylan Sampson mixing in, especially for passing-down work.

In that case, Ford would be the better fantasy football play over Sampson, although he'd only be a flex option.

Of course, if Judkins plays, you're starting him in all formats.
