The quarterback competition amongst the four Cleveland Browns signal-callers has been the topic of discussion throughout this offseason. And at the center of that has been fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders, who many expected to get drafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Sanders has seemingly been falling behind in the quarterback battle, as the Browns seem to favor Kenny Pickett or Dillon Gabriel as their potential Week 1 starter. However, the Colorado product showcased what he is capable of on Saturday.
Sanders hit Luke Floriea on a deep pass for a touchdown, fitting the ball over two defenders and hitting his receiver in stride.

Should Sanders parlay plays like that into more good showings, he could see his name rise up in the quarterback battle and potentially earn the starting job.
