The Cleveland Browns appear to be trending toward moving on from head coach Kevin Stefanski.
But there's one way that could happen that would be a bit unexpected: a trade.
Yep, a head coach trade. It's rare, but it happens if another team wants a coach enough to give up draft assets for them.
This isn't out of nowhere -- NFL insider Jordan Schultz wrote this on X on Saturday night:
"Sources believe he’s either getting let go or could be a trade candidate — though the latter is considered unlikely."

OK, so unlikely, but still.
It feels like this is the first time this has been floated, so it at least means someone out there in the NFL world has thought of the idea.
Stefanski is still regarded positively as a coach and an offensive mind. Frankly, other teams probably recognize it isn't exactly his fault that he has struggled in recent times in Cleveland. A lot has gone poorly outside of his control.

So maybe, just maybe, a coach trade is brewing.
It'd certainly make for some fun offseason fodder.
