After defeating the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday, Shedeur Sanders mentioned post-game how "coach Kev has been real tough" on him. He followed that with how respect and understanding grew between himself and Kevin Stefanski as the season went on.
Now Shedeur will be looking to prove himself to a new head coach in 2026.
Sanders was asked Monday morning his reaction to the news that Stefanski had been fired.

"That's how the league is. Moving forward, just focus on what we can improve on individually," Sanders commented.
The fifth-round pick's rookie year ends with a 3-4 record over seven starts. Does Sanders think that his performance showed the franchise that he's capable of being the Browns' starting QB moving forward?
