Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has left the team's Week 16 contest with the Buffalo Bills due to an injured hand. Sanders was shown on the broadcast having a bloody pinky. Dillon Gabriel came in for Sanders to finish a long drive that resulted in a field goal.
The Browns got off to a fast start, taking a 7-0 lead after Sanders threw a touchdown to rookie tight end Harold Fannin for his fifth receiving touchdown of the season. Buffalo then answered on their first drive with a long James Cook rushing score. Sanders then threw an interception on Cleveland's second drive, with his pass bouncing off the shoulder of running back Quinshon Judkins and being caught by Bills safety Jordan Poyer. The Bills then turned that into a touchdown run by Ty Johnson before the Browns answered with the aforementioned field goal.
The Bills can clinch a playoff spot with a win and a loss from either the Houston Texans or Indianapolis Colts, and the Browns are hoping to play spoiler.
