Not much has gone right for the Cleveland Browns in 2025.

After suffering another loss in NFL Week 16, the team is now sitting at 3-12 on the season and is buried in the basement of the AFC North. However, there's been plenty of buzz about the Browns this season thanks to rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

There was plenty of speculation about why Sanders lasted until the fifth round in the 2025 draft, and then even more speculation when the Colorado product was listed behind Joe Flacco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel on the initial depth chart.

At least publicly, though, Sanders has remained professional and seems to be taking this season in stride. Head coach Kevin Stefanski even praised Sanders for his gritty performance in Week 16.

However, one talking head isn't buying that Sanders is happy with Stefanski.

Skip Bayless Thinks Shedeur 'Doesn't Like' Stefanski

Skip Bayless has never been one to shy away from a hot take. On Monday, Bayless appeared on "The Arena: Gridiron," and offered a bold take about Sanders and Stefanski's relationship.

"He's not in control of his fate enough in Cleveland to be able to stand up for himself and take a shot at the head coach... I bet behind closed doors Shedeur doesn't like Kevin Stefanski," Bayless proclaimed

It would make sense if Sanders wasn't exactly thrilled right now. He was drafted much lower than he expected, he plays for one of the league's worst teams, and he sat the bench for more than half of his first season.

However, this situation could resolve itself in the offseason. There's no guarantee that Stefanski will still be the head coach after this season, and there's also no guarantee that Sanders will still be the starting quarterback.

So far in 2025, Sanders has played in six games and has thrown for 1,103 yards with six touchdowns and eight interceptions. The quarterback has completed just over 55% of his passes and has a 1-4 record as the starter.

The Browns will end the 2025 season with games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals
