The Cleveland Browns have won their fourth straight home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and are now 6-1-1 in their last eight games at home against their division rivals. Additionally, the Browns' win prevents the Steelers from clinching the AFC North, meaning Pittsburgh will have to win in Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens or they will be eliminated from playoff contention.

The other top storyline entering this game was Myles Garrett and the opportunity he had to break the single-season sack record. And while the Steelers kept him from doing that, the star edge rusher says Pittsburgh was too focused on him and not focused on scoring points.

"To an extent, they were more worried about keeping me away from Aaron than getting the win," Garrett said. "That’s what came back to bite them.”

While the Steelers didn't allow a sack, their offense was held to les than five yards per play and didn't find the end zone all afternoon. Pittsburgh had their chances, and the Browns gave them multiple opportunities to seize the lead and not give it back. Pittsburgh got to the 22 yard-line after a Jack Sawyer interception, but stalled out after throwing a go ball on 4th-and-1. Kyle Dugger also picked off Shedeur Sanders, but the Steelers went four plays and punted. On the Steelers' final drive, they made it inside the red zone, but threw three consecutive passes to Marquez Valdes-Scantling, all of which were incomplete, to end the game.

The Browns will close out their 2025 season next week on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.
