The Cleveland Browns began rookie minicamp on Friday with tons of anticipation most notably at the quarterback position.

With both Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel getting selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, plenty of questions will be asked about the Browns depth chart at the position over the next few months.

Sanders had everybody excited as his first passes in a Browns uniform surfaced on the internet on Friday. However, it was Gabriel who earned the first rep over Sanders.

Still, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski doesn't want anybody to look too deep, as he said in an exchange with Brad Stainbrook

"I wouldn't look into really anything," Stefanski said on Gabriel getting the rep over Sanders. "I wouldn't look into anything. You'll see the whole weekend, going through the spring, we don't pay close attention to whose in their first."

When asked if it will change tomorrow, Stefanski said "We'll see."

For what it's worth, neither Kenny Pickett nor Joe Flacco were there, and Albert Breer predicted recently that he thinks Flacco will end up as the QB1 to begin the season.

"Right now, I’d bet on Joe Flacco starting the opener for that reason. But, again, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders will have the chance to change the equation if they show well enough over the course of May and the first half of June," Breer wrote.

But, don't expect a decision from Stefanski and the Browns anytime soon, especially with all four guys presumably competing for the job.
