The Cleveland Browns will have a new head coach at the helm in 2026, as Kevin Stefanski was relieved of his duties as Browns coach after six seasons on Monday.
Though Stefanski is a two-time Coach of the Year winner and led Cleveland to the playoffs twice, the last two years have been tough for the Browns. The team has won just eight total games and hasn't won a postseason game since 2020.
Stefanski will now look for his next NFL opportunity over the next few weeks, and it appears he's already receiving head-coaching interest from other franchises.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Stefanski is expected to meet with the Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, and Tennessee Titans about their vacant head coach positions.
"Sources: Former Browns HC Kevin Stefanski currently is expected to speak with the Falcons, Giants and Titans about their HC vacancies," Schefter reported on X.
Despite a rough ending to his Browns tenure, it's no surprise that Stefanski is receiving head coaching interest just hours after he was let go. Around the league, Stefanski is a highly-respected offensive mind who had some success with Cleveland despite inconsistent quarterback play.
The Falcons, Giants, and Titans would all love to hire Stefanski, as all three teams have young quarterbacks who need development and the right coaching staff around them.
We'll see if Stefanski lands a head coaching job in this cycle. The former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator's time in Cleveland was clearly up, but a fresh start could be what he needs to get back to the coach-of-the-year level.
