It has been a tough year for Cleveland Brown tight end David Njoku, but that's hardly his fault.
Njoku entered Week 12 with just 288 yards in nine games played. The biggest issue for Njoku has been the lackluster play at quarterback that has remained a constant throughout the season.
Knowing that, it comes as no surprise that Njoku is off to a slow start in the Week 12 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is David Njoku playing today?
Yes, Njoku is active and in the lineup. Unfortunately he wasn't targeted at all in the first half.
It's important to remember that Shedeur Sanders and Njoku don't have great chemistry yet, as they didn't get any reps together in practice until this week.
Hopefully things turn around in the second half.
