The Cleveland Browns pulled off one of the upsets of the 2025 season thus far, defeating the 2-0 Green Bay Packers 13-10 after a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback capped off be a long field goal from Andre Szmyt to seal the deal. Unfortunately for the Browns, the win also came with bad news.
Browns offensive tackle Dawand Jones will miss the rest of the season after a knee injury that will require surgery.
"Browns OT Dawand Jones is out for the season and will have knee surgery, coach Kevin Stefanski said," Ian Rapoport reports. "A bad result for Cleveland."
Cornelius Lucas was already playing in a larger role due to Jack Conklin being out, so don't be surprised if the Browns make a signing at tackle due to the pair of injuries they have at the position.
