The Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation looks dire for the 2025 season. Kenny Pickett isn't setting the world on fire, and while he is a fan-favorite, neither is Joe Flacco. Cleveland's long-term answer isn't on their roster, but it could be within the next two weeks.

With the NFL Draft right around the corner, Gilberto Manzano of Sports Illustrated put together his best case scenario for every NFL team. When it comes to the Browns, Manzano says their dream scenario would be trading back into the first round of the draft to take Shedeur Sanders to pair with Travis Hunter.

"The Browns will likely be faced with the tough scenario of deciding between Carter and Hunter at No. 2," Manzano writes. "They’re the two best prospects in the draft, but a deciding factor could be Hunter’s chemistry with Sanders. These are dream scenarios, obviously, but there’s a strong possibility that the Browns are actually searching for ways to draft the two Colorado products in the first round. After missing badly on the Deshaun Watson trade, the Browns get aggressive again and land a second first-round pick to get Sanders to throw to Hunter at the pro level."

Should the Browns be able to pull off this type of move, they wouldn't just change the outlook of the NFL Draft, they could change the long-term future of their franchise.
