Shelby Harris on egregious missed holding by Steelers: “harder than my wife” image

Amid the final throw by Aaron Rodgers in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns there was an egregious missed holding call by Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier, but no one is talking about it because a deflected pass handed the Browns a victory anyways.

However, the man that was held on the play is speaking out.

Shelby Harris makes joke about wife

Browns defensive lineman Shelby Harris was placed in a bear hug by Frazier on the final offensive possession for Pittsburgh. A clear holding call, missed by the officials. Harris went on to deflect Rodgers' pass effectively ending the game.

“He was hugging me harder than my wife does,” Harris joked to ESPN Cleveland radio on Tuesday.

“I didn’t realize how egregious of a hold it was. I’m just happy to make the play and fight through stuff like that.”

Just as a reminder, holding is likely historically one of the most missed or uncalled penalties in the league.

Shelby Harris says ‘screw’ Pittsburgh Steelers

There is no love lost between Harris and the Steelers. “I say screw those guys,” he said.

“It had nothing to do with the Ravens. We don’t like those guys either. Whoever was in first, we were gonna knock them out. And that was kind of our job. Obviously there’s no playoffs this year. We’re just tryna ruin somebody’s else’s season at this point.

“And the Steelers definitely seemed like they were more interested in not letting Myles (Garrett) get the sack record then they were winning. They didn’t really try to develop any passing game down field.”

Garrett didn’t record a sack in the game and remains one sack away from breaking the single-season sack record with only one game remaining.
