The Cleveland Browns and their quarterback battle has been one of the stories of the offseason, and been one of the biggest focuses around the NFL since they opened training camp two weeks ago.
The four-way battle between Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders have been battling it out for the No. 1 spot on the depth chart. And while Sanders is the most polarizing of the group in large part due to his father, Deion Sanders, he revealed that he's asked his father to stay away from training camp.
"I don't want him coming to see me right now," Shedeur said. "Because I want to get where I want to go. I don't want him come see me get a couple reps and cheer like, 'yeah good job.' You can't be proud of me. I want to get to where I'm going, and I know there's a lot I need to do to get there... I don't want no distractions..."
A very thoughtful and insightful answer from the quarterback who knows he has a lot of eyes on him, many of which are hoping to see him fail.
