Deion Sanders visited his son Shilo at Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp.
He won't be coming to Cleveland to see his other son, Browns rookie QB Shedeur.
That's by request from Shedeur, says his dad.
Deion took part in an interview with Michael Irvin, and a portion of what Deion shared had to do with what Shedeur felt about his possible visit to camp.
“Shedeur told me not to come,” Sanders said. “He didn’t want me to come. He was like, ‘Dad, I may get three, four reps in practice. I don’t want you seeing that. No, I’m not where I want to be. Let me get where I need to be.’ It’s so funny because this is his first time ever, and he’s dealing with it like a pro. He ain’t mad. He ain’t bitter. He’s like, I got work to do but I’m going to put in this work. One thing, they’re going to have to let me play, preseason is going to come. When preseason comes, watch me work.”

There are certainly those who wondered what kind of a role Deion had played in Shedeur's NFL Draft tumble from a consensus first-round pick to the fifth round and the No. 144 selection.
The young quarterback is last in the Cleveland pecking order at the moment. Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett (although injured) are the two veterans ahead of Shedeur, and so is fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. The Browns drafted Gabriel at pick No. 94 and still came back to take Shedeur 50 spots later, making things even more confusing.
It definitely would've drawn plenty of attention if Deion was at training camp, so that very well may be the right move.
If Shedeur can prove he's along, there'll be plenty of chances for his father to watch him play in the NFL. But Deion's son has to make it first.
