The 2025 season has been yet another one to forget for the Cleveland Browns. After going 3-14 in 2024, the Browns will replicate that record if they lose their final three games. And while fans have at least had the weekly excitement of watching Myles Garrett chase the single-season sack record, there has also been a very polarizing aspect of this campaign in the form of Shedeur Sanders.

The Colorado product is 1-3 as a starter, but there is still a large section of the Browns' fan base that swears by him. So much so that Sanders could find himself in the Pro Bowl.

Per Tom Pelissero, Shedeur Sanders is 10th amongst all quarterbacks in Pro Bowl votes. The quarterbacks in front of him are as follows:

  1. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
  2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
  3. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
  4. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
  5. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
  6. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
  7. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
  8. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
  9. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Sanders getting to the Pro Bowl would be unexpected, considering he hasn't played well. He is coming off a dreadful performance against the Chicago Bears, going 18-of-35 for 177 yards and three interceptions. On the season, he now has more interceptions than touchdowns (five touchdowns, six interceptions) on the season, and ranks near the bottom of the NFL in every major passing category and analytic.

Per Anthony Lima, out of 44 quarterbacks with at least 165 snaps, Sanders ranks 44th out of 44 in EPA per play, adjusted EPA per play, CPOE,  EPA + CPOE, success rate, and 43rd in completion percentage. Putting him in the Pro Bowl would be laughable at best when it's clear he hasn't played at a Pro Bowl level.
