The Cleveland Browns 2025 draft class was an overall homerun and shattered expectations. That success is what helped save GM Andrew Berry's job. On Tuesday the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) officially named defensive tackle Mason Graham and linebacker Carson Schwesinger to their All-Rookie Team.
It confirms what fans in Cleveland already knew- that the defense is what will drive this franchise foward.
Graham was an interior wrecking ball, starting every game and leading all rookie DTs with 49 tackles. Defensive line coach Jacques Cesaire raved about his IQ, noting, "He’s calling out where all the runs are going, every single play... He’s just scratching the surface of his potential."

Meanwhile, Schwesinger turned into a tackling machine, leading all NFL rookies with a staggering 146 stops--the most by a Browns rookie since the team’s 1999 return. He even notched a six-game streak of double-digit tackles, the longest in the league this year.
Linebackers coach Jason Tarver highlighted his "unique" ability to stay in the moment and adjust on the fly. Schwesinger also took home the PFWA Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
The honors to Graham and Schwesinger, as well as Myles Garret's record breaking 23-sack season, is a big reason why DC Jim Schwartz is one of the favorites to become the Browns next head coach.
