The Cleveland Browns are searching for their next head coach after showing Kevin Stefanski the door this week.
Stefanski was cut loose after six seasons. The death blow to his tenure in Cleveland was two straight losing seasons, which was enough to get him canned despite two playoff appearances, a playoff win and two Coach of the Year awards.
When the Browns' head-coaching search is all said and done, USA TODAY's Nick Brinkerhoff believes Cleveland will end up with former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
"The Browns are still rebuilding and no one knows if Harbaugh would be willing to accept that. However, he would have the chance to compete against the Ravens two times a year after his unceremonious departure," Brinkerhoff wrote.
"Building the Browns into a contender could be enticing for someone like Harbaugh, who already has a Super Bowl ring on his finger," he added.
