One of the storylines of the 2025 Cleveland Browns season so far has been the incredible play from the rookie draft class.
Carson Schwesinger, Mason Graham, Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. Have been incredible for the Browns.
Dillon Gabriel looks to be a quality backup quarterback, while Shedeur Sanders has shown both sky-high potential and fairly low floors. But it's hard to get a full grasp of Sanders' play with how banged up the offensive line has been this season.
Amid all of the injuries to the offensive line, the Browns are making a roster move. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Browns are poaching a lineman from the Buffalo Bills' practice squad in a must-have signing for Sanders' protection.
Browns sign OL off Bills' practice squad for Week 17
"Browns signed OL Kendrick Green to their active roster off Buffalo's practice squad," Schefter reported Christmas Eve morning.
While Green isn't a Christmas gift that will change much for the Browns, it's a quality depth addition for Cleveland amid the slew of injuries to the line this season.
Green was a former third-round draft pick by the Browns' AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in the 2021 NFL Draft. He started 15 games at center for the Steelers that season but missed the entire 2022 season before joining the Houston Texans for 2023 and 2024, where he played in 21 games over two seasons, making four starts.

He's been on the Bills' practice squad this season, and with the Browns' final two weeks coming up, they've signed Green to their active roster, poaching a lineman from a top AFC contender late in the season.
The Browns desperately needed this move. Dawand Jones, Wyatt Teller, Ethan Pocic and Jack Conklin are all injured, and with some depth concerns, another offensive lineman was a must-add for the Browns this week.
Green, an NFL veteran at this point, will help provide extra depth to the Browns' offensive line for the final two weeks against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals.
