When the Cleveland Browns traded veteran Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals, the burning question was who would be the Browns' backup quarterback behind Dillon Gabriel?
After head coach Kevin Stefanski declined to pick between Shedeur Sanders and Bailey Zappe earlier in the week, he announced today that he's come to a decision.
Sanders, Cleveland's fifth-round rookie, will be the backup behind Gabriel on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sanders, who had been serving as the emergency third-string quarterback since the start of the season, finally got the bump he had been waiting for.
Yesterday, when we were still waiting for a decision, Sanders spoke to the media and sounded like a guy who was okay with the process.
"I’m overly confident within myself. I know when I first got here I’m ready to play, but that’s up to the coaches and whatever decision they make, I’m fine with it," he said via ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi.
Well, in the chance Gabriel goes down with an injury, the former Colorado standout will be next in line for Cleveland under center.
Throughout the week, it was thought that if the Browns chose to promote Zappe over Sanders, there would be no coming back, as it would be apparent how Cleveland felt about their 144th overall pick.
Thankfully, that never came to fruition, and the Browns now have both of their rookie quarterbacks atop the depth chart.
The next burning question will be when Sanders gets his first opportunity to start.
