The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns have a deep rivalry in the AFC North, and they'll meet for the first time in 2025 on Sunday.

The Steelers come in 3-1 and at the top of the division, while the Browns enter the game 1-4 in a transition phase with rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel at the helm.

However, on Sunday, the Browns will look to end a losing streak that's more than 20 years old against the Steelers.

Browns Can Break Brutal Losing Streak

Sunday's game between the Browns and Steelers will be their first matchup of the season, and it will be in Pittsburgh.

The Browns have not won a regular season game in Pittsburgh since 2003. In that time, Cleveland has lost 21 consecutive games on the road in Pittsburgh.

The Browns did travel to Pittsburgh and win a shootout, 48-37, in the playoffs in 2021. However, Cleveland's last regular season win in Pittsburgh came on Oct 5, 2003.

In that game, the Browns had Tim Couch at quarterback, who threw for about 200 yards and two touchdowns, and William Green led the rushing attack with 113 yards, in the Browns' route of the Steelers, 33-13.

The last five regular season games in Pittsburgh haven't been particularly close either, with only one of them being within 10 points.

The Steelers lead the all-time series 82-64-1, and will look to continue their dominance on Sunday.

As for the Browns, they'll look for their rookie quarterback to gain some momentum on offense and Myles Garrett to create some chaos for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense to try and end their brutal 22 year losing streak.
