The Cleveland Browns are going to be without wide receivers Cedric Tillman and DeAndre Carter for multiple games.
The news comes from head coach Kevin Stefanski, who revealed that both players will miss "weeks," with their injuries, according to ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi.
"Browns WRs Cedric Tillman (hamstring) and DeAndre Carter (knee) will miss 'weeks,' per Kevin Stefanski," Oyefusi reported.
Tillman exited the Week 4 loss against the Detroit Lions with a hamstring issue, while Carter suffered a knee injury that forced his early exit.
With those two out, the Browns are going to need a lot more from Jerry Jeudy, who is off to a disappointing start to the season after an electric 2024 campaign.
Jeudy has yet to record more than 66 yards in a game and has struggled with drops.
The injuries to Tillman and Carter also open up more opportunities for guys like Isaiah Bond and Jamari Thrash.
The Browns will have another tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. The Vikings sport the No. 3 pass defense in the NFL, so things aren't going to get any easier for Cleveland's injured passing attack.
