After missing multiple games with concussion problems, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has returned against the Miami Dolphins and is already making an impact.
Late in the first quarter, after running back De'von Achane put the Dolphins on the board with a 48-yard rushing touchdown, the Bengals struck back with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow to Higgins to tie the game.
A win here for the Bengals could be huge after all the drama surrounding the team, including the futures of head coach Zac Taylor and quarterback Joe Burrow, who made concerning comments about his happiness and left fans wondering about his willingness to stay with the Bengals.
Although Higgins has missed over a few games this season, he has still been highly productive for the team, even though he only has 46 receptions on the year, nine of which have resulted in touchdowns.
Since the trio of Burrow, Higgins, and Chase arrived in Cincy, they have consistently been among the league's best offensive teams, including a Super Bowl appearance in 2022, where they lost a tight game to the Los Angeles Rams, but this will be the third straight season they will miss the postseason, as they entered Sunday, 4-10.
However, winning their last few games could help them feel better heading into the offseason. Currently, the Bengals are up 17-14 over the Dolphins with the second half beginning shortly.
