The Cincinnati Bengals provided a positive injury update on wide receiver Tee Higgins on Wednesday.
Before practice, head coach Zac Taylor revealed that Higgins, who is once again in the concussion protocol this week, will be a limited participant in practice.
"Bengals WR Tee Higgins is going to be limited today at practice as he goes through concussion protocol," ESPN's Ben Baby reported.
While this does not guarantee he's going to play in Week 15, the fact that Higgins is taking part in practice to any degree is a good sign for his chances of suiting up.
From here, Higgins will have to turn in a limited practice over the next two days to progress through the protocol and play on Sunday.
Higgins sat out in Week 13 due to a concussion, but managed to return after a one-game absence in Week 14.
However, Higgins slammed his head on the turf on multiple occasions on Sunday and was checked for a concussion twice before being cleared both times.
After the game, Higgins reported concussion-like symptoms, which landed him back in the protocol for Week 15.
Because he has now sustained multiple concussions this season, it was believed he didn't have much of a chance to play this week.
But that is clearly not the case and the door remains open for Higgins.
