The Cincinnati Bengals made news in the middle of the week when they traded for Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco in a last-ditch effort to save their season while Joe Burrow recovers from a turf toe injury.

The Bengals have a tough road ahead that starts Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Should the season continue to go south, they'll be getting calls about a potential Trey Hendrickson trade. Per Dianna Russini, one NFC team in particular has its eyes on the 2024 sack leader.

"49ers GM John Lynch says the team is exploring trade options on the pass rusher market ahead of the trade deadline," Russini reports. "I expect them to check in on the availability of Cincinnati’s Trey Hendrickson."

Should the Bengals not win another game before the deadline and be all but eliminated from the playoff picture, a trade for Hendrickson would make sense, considering he will be a free agent in 2026.
