Is Joe Burrow playing Thanksgiving? Latest injury news on Bengals QB for Week 13 image

The Cincinnati Bengals haven't had the season they would've envisioned.

But on Thursday, with a game lined up for after a hefty Thanksgiving dinner, Cincy fans have something to be thankful for.

Joe Burrow has been out as he's recovered from surgery on a turf toe injury.

That absence appears to be coming to an end just in time to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

Is Joe Burrow playing Thanksgiving?

Yes, Joe Burrow is expected to play on Thanksgiving for the Bengals against the Ravens.

"I anticipate him playing, but we'll continue to work through the week," Bengals coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Monday.

Burrow practiced in full twice last week before Joe Flacco still got the start on Sunday against the Patriots.

The Bengals lost the first three games with Burrow out and Jake Browning starting. Since Joe Flacco took over, the Bengals went 1-5.

They're 3-8 overall, and would probably have to win out to have any chance at the playoffs.

"He's worked really hard to get himself back," Taylor said of Burrow. "He's a football player. He wants to play football. We want to win football games, so that will lead into that decision."
