The Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers played a massive Week 11 game. But in the late stages, with Cincinnati down big, Steelers defensive back Jalen Rams ey was ejected.
He threw a punch at Bengals' wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and was immediately assessed a penalty and thrown out of the game. Pittsburgh won, 34-12, but Ramsey's ejection was still a mystery.
However, after the game, Ramsey was asked why he threw the punch. Chris Adamski of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review revealed that Ramsey is accusing Chase of spitting on him.
Steelers' Jalen Ramsey accuses Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase of spitting on him
Adamski reports that, "Jalen Ramsey says Ja'Marr Chase spit on him."
Ramsey and the Steelers held the Bengals offense down all game and won in dominating fashion. At 6-4, the Steelers have command of the AFC North, while the 3-7 Bengals are in danger of being eliminated from the playoffs.

Chase was held to just three catches for 30 yards on 10 targets in the loss to the Steelers, marking Chase's worst performance of the year with Joe Flacco at quarterback.
Whether it was frustration with a poor performance or something that Ramsey did during the game, if Chase did spit on Ramsey, it wouldn't be the only time that a spitting incident led to an ejection this season.

Back in Week 1, on opening night, Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles was thrown out at the start of the game for spitting on Dak Prescott.
However, unlike with Carter getting thrown out for spitting on Prescott, Chase wasn't thrown out for his alleged spitting incident.
Ramsey's accusation is one that the NFL will investigate, as fines or a possible suspension could be in line. But, for now, it's another spitting incident this NFL season, with both leading to ejections.
