The Cincinnati Bengals entered Week 15 with a chance, albeit a slim one, to make the playoffs. They needed to win this week against the Baltimore Ravens in the frigid air, but unfortunately, things went poorly.

A 24-0 loss to their division rivals, the Bengals ended their playoff chances in a brutal shutout. After the game, things only got even worse for the Bengals.

During the postgame press conference for Ravens' Dre'Mont Jones, the veteran star defender wasn't afraid to put the Bengals on blast. He called out the Bengals, saying the Ravens knew the Bengals were on their heels, and that it was "too cold" for the Bengals.

"We knew we had them on their heels," Jones said. "Just by how they were calling it, how they looked, their demeanor. They didn't feel lively to me.... I felt that play one they weren't ready to play. It was too cold for them."

This is a brutal comment from Jones, as it all but accuses the Bengals of being afraid of the cold and of having all but given up.

The vibes with the Bengals lately, following the tough loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, have been terrible. Joe Burrow has been melancholic about his future, and there have been more questions than ever about how the team will manage into the future.

After this loss to the Ravens at home in Paycor Stadium, the Bengals are 4-10, officially eliminated from the playoffs, and now face major questions about the future of the organization.

And in the short term, the comments from Jones indicate that the Bengals had all but given up coming into the Week 15 matchup.

Now that they've been eliminated, it's a question of how much effort they're going to put forth the rest of the season. With three games left, the Bengals still have to finish out the year. But, instead of playing for a playoff spot, the Bengals will be playing to prove their worth for 2026 and beyond.
