Should I start Rome Odunze in Fantasy Week 10? Bears WR lineup advance vs. Giants image

The Chicago Bears are welcoming the New York Giants to Chicago for what's shaping up to be a wet and potentially snowy Week 10 matchup.

The running backs, D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, are intriguing starting options for fantasy managers. The same can't be said of the Rome Odunze, the Bears' number one wide receiver.

Coming off a 0-point performance despite the Bears' 47-point explosion in Week 9, is Odunze trustworthy to be in lineups once again? While there's some concern, fantasy managers should start Odunze in Week 10 against the Giants.

Should fantasy managers start Rome Odunze?

Odunze is coming off about as bad a week as a player could have for fantasy purposes. He had just three targets of Caleb Williams' 34 passing attempts, a target share of under 8.8%, the lowest of his season thus far.

And as Courtney Cronin of ESPN shared, Odunze's dad also called out the Bears for his son's lack of usage. It was an eventful Week 9 for Odunze despite zero catches and fantasy points on the week.

Since the Bears' Week 5 bye, the production of Odunze has fallen off a cliff. He's had just one week with two catches in the four games since the bye. He's had Full PPR performances of 5.2, 5.1, 18.4, and 0.0 in the weeks since the bye.

The first four weeks of his 2025 season were completely different. He had 15.7, 31.8, 15.2, and 16.9 points in the first four weeks of the year. Odunze was on track to be a top-10 fantasy WR.

Now, coming off the bye, his lackluster performances have Odunze ranked well outside the top 10. His production has led fantasy managers to be, rightfully, concerned.

However, despite his 0-point Week 9 performance and rough weeks since the bye, Odunze is still a strong starting option in Week 10.

The Giants' defense has struggled all year, and they've allowed 33, 38, and 34 points in each of the last three weeks, all featuring big performances from wide receivers.

Odunze, despite his recent struggles, should be in fantasy lineups this week. While he's struggled to get going since the bye, he's still a solid starter option this week.

While his status as a WR1 is likely over, Odunze can still be a WR2 option in great matchups, like the one he has in Week 10.

The ceiling and floor might be lower than they seemed through the first four weeks for Odunze, but against the leaky Giants secondary, despite iffy weather, Odunze should be in lineups for a great Week 10 fantasy matchup.
