One of the most highly anticipated games of the Week 16 slate will take place on Saturday night when the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field.

This is a hugely important game for both teams, as the winner will sit in first place in the NFC North going into Week 17.

This is the time of year where fantasy football owners need to be checking weather forecasts for inclement conditions that could impact games.

Those inclement conditions include cold temperatures, rain, snow and high wind gusts, all of which can impact both offenses, defenses and kicking games.

Here's a look at what the weather will be for the Week 16 contest between the Packers and Bears.

Packers vs. Bears weather forecast

According to AccuWeather.com, the temperature at Soldier Field will be cold at 33 degrees or lower. While we wouldn't call that irrelevant, both teams are definitely accustomed to playing in that kind of temperature.

While there is no precipitation in the forecast, wind gusts are expected to be high.

Gusts could hit as high as 28 MPH in the first two hours of the contest, and they will remain fairly high throughout the rest of the game at 24-25 MPH.

Wind gusts exceeding 20 MPH can have an impact on passing attacks and kicking games of both teams, so that's where the biggest weather concern lies right now.

However, with sustained winds not expected to surpass 17 MPH, we're only a little concerned about wind playing a factor in this game and that's not enough for it to impact how we set our fantasy football lineups.
