The Chicago Bears have an injury concern with wide receiver Luther Burden at the end of the Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Burden suffered an injury on the final play of the game and stayed down on the field as players exited to the locker room. Chicago's medical staff came out to the field to tend to him.

Follow our tracker below for the latest updates on Burden's status following the Bears' Week 17 defeat at the hands of the 49ers on Sunday night.

UPDATE: Head coach Ben Johnson didn't have an update after the game, but the Bears wideout did talk to reporters in the locker room, which is a good sign Burden avoided a serious injury.

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: Troubling news, as Burden had to be carted off the field. Hopefully that was done as a precaution, but that's usually a bad sign.

We still don't have any information on what Burden is dealing with exactly.

END OF UPDATE

Burden tried to get up off the field after the game was over, but dropped back down to all fours. It isn't immediately clear what he's dealing with, but it didn't look good for him initially.

We'll update this page once more information is available. It might be too soon to get an update from head coach Ben Johnson right after the game, so we might have to wait until tomorrow for more information.

We can only hope its nothing serious for Burden, who had a breakout game in Week 17. Burden ripped off career-highs with eight catches for 138 yards, and he scored a touchdown in the losing effort.
