Jonathan Owens is just a middling safety for the Chicago Bears.
But he's as well-known as any such player in the NFL, because he's Simone Biles' husband. The legendary gymnast is his biggest supporter.
The Bears are the 2-seed in the NFC bracket in the playoffs that began on Saturday.
Owens is trying to help them chase a Super Bowl.

Is Jonathan Owens playing today?
Owens is healthy, active and suiting up for the Bears on Saturday.
He's not a huge player for the Bears, though.
During the regular season, he made just 19 total tackles. He didn't deflect or intercept a single pass.
The 30-year old is in his second season with the Bears. Last year, he had 49 tackles and an interception.
This season, Owens has moved into the second-string on the depth chart.
Jaquan Brisker and Kevin Byard start at safety for the Bears, so Owens doesn't get on the field a whole lot.
