The Chicago Bears have made a pair of late additions to their injury report ahead of the Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

The Bears announced on Sunday that wide receivers DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus are both now questionable to play because of an illness.

"Bears are adding WRs DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus to the Injury Report because of an illness," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport relayed.

Rapoport adds that the Bears have the flu going around their locker room, so that appears to be the illness Moore and Zaccheaus are dealing with.

This is obviously concerning news for the Bears, who are already without wide receiver Rome Odunze, who was ruled out due to a foot injury.

UPDATE: FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Moore and Zaccheaus are true game-time decisions for Week 17.

We would say Moore has a better chance to play than not.

That's because the Bears are playing a hugely important game against the Niners that will have implications on the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The Bears have already secured their playoff berth and NFC North title, but they can grab a first-round bye and home-field advantage if they finish as the top seed.

Moore is also needed with the Bears already being short-handed at wide receiver, so he has even more motivation to give it a go.

Typically, an illness isn't a huge concern for a player suiting up, but the chances of a player sitting out with an illness is increased when it pops up on gameday.

We saw this with Detroit Lions left tackle Taylor Decker and Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez this week.

Both players were added to the injury report on gameday on Christmas Day with an illness before eventually sitting out.

Knowing that, we will be watching closely for any reports about Moore's playing status ahead of kickoff. We'll get final confirmation on Moore an hour and a half before the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday night.
