Dick Vitale, at his core, is a sports fan.
He watches so many games across so many leagues, well beyond his role as ESPN's most famous college basketball commentator.
That meant he was paying attention to the Chicago Bears' wild comeback win over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
And Vitale also saw what came afterward, when in his postgame speech in the locker room, Bears coach Ben Johnson delivered an NSFW message: "F--- the Packers."
Vitale shared his thoughts on X on Sunday:
Total CLASSLESS attitude in winning by BEN JOHNSON coach of the @ChicagoBears in the fab comeback to beat the @packers.Main theme should have been the gutty comeback not the childish F__ Packers comments - via @ESPN App https://t.co/oKeUkwx5mb

Vitale didn't hold back.
And he's got a point.
Why bash the other team? You just had one of the biggest wins in recent franchise history. Celebrate that.
It's not about a silly head coach feud.
It's about a historically special moment for the Bears. And Vitale makes that point clear.
