The Chicago Bears are heading into a Week 10 matchup against the New York Giants. It's a home matchup, and one that could feature some rain and snow, the perfect recipe for some strong running back performances in fantasy football.
As the Bears announced on Twitter/X, their Week 10 inactives didn't include D'Andre Swift, meaning both Swift and Kyle Monangai will be active for the Bears' Week 10 matchup.
With a great matchup on tap, which Bears running back is worth starting? Both have strong cases to start in fantasy lineups, with the Bears' running backs in line for big days in Week 10.
Which Bears RB is worth starting in Week 10?
Swift is coming off a missed week due to a groin injury. While there might be some concerns for the veteran running back going forward, with the great matchup on tap, Swift is a great start.

Since the Bears' Week 5 bye, Swift has put up 25.5, 20.8, and 15.1 fantasy points in Full PPR leagues. He missed the Bears' Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, where Monangai took full advantage of his lone starting opportunity this season.
The Bears' seventh-round rookie running back ran all over the Bengals' poor defense, rushing for 176 yards on 26 attempts, while adding three receptions for 22 yards to cap off a 22.8 Full PPR performance.
Ben Johnson has alluded to using the "hot hand" in Week 10, and while that's cause for concern for both backs, as one or the other could see less work, it shouldn't have a huge impact on whether Monangai or Swift should be in lineups.
Ben Johnson gives some insight into how the Bears will divvy up their backfield with both D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai set to play: "I believe in a guy having the hot hand. One guy, if he’s feeling it and giving us a spark, we might lean on that a little bit longer."

Against the Giants, the second-worst defense in the NFL when it comes to stopping running backs, both Monangai and Swift are solid starting options.

But, between the two, Swift is likely the better start this week. When they've both been active, Swift has been the starter.
Monangai was incredible in Week 9, and he'll get his fair share of work in Week 10, but if Swift hasn't lost a step, he'll likely get the bulk of the work.
Fantasy managers with both Swift and Monangai should wind up going Swift over Monangai, but if managers have one or the other, getting them into lineups would not be a bad idea.
The Bears' running game might have a huge week against a poor Giants run defense. Both Monangai and Swift are good options in Week 10 for fantasy managers, but if one had to be picked over the other, Swift is likely the safer option of the two.
