PFF says Caleb Williams put together an entire Patrick Mahomes playoff run in one single game image

Caleb Williams is already one of, if not the most, scrutinized QBs in the entire league. He's only in his second season.

There are certainly negative aspects of his game that you can point to, like his completion percentage. But to watch his overall game and still come away with negatives on him is silly.

He broke multiple franchise records in just his second season and led his team to arguably one of the greatest playoff wins in his franchise's history.

Coming out of college, many noted his ability to escape out of the pocket and make some of the biggest throws from the most impressive arm angles. It even had some comparing him to Patrick Mahomes.

In the game against Green Bay, Williams came up clutch time and time again with some massive throws. He was so good, in fact, that he just put himself right back in Mahomes conversations.

Caleb Williams had ridiculous number of big-time throws by PFF

Pro Football Focus defines a "Big-Time Throw" as a high-difficulty, high-value pass with excellent ball placement and timing, usually thrown deep or into a tight window, often under pressure, demonstrating accuracy, arm strength and fearlessness.

In Saturday night's game against Green Bay, Williams tallied six total big-time throws. That is ridiculous.

It was originally seven until they removed one post-game.

For reference, the most big-time throws that Patrick Mahomes has ever put up in a playoff run have been seven, and it took him three games in 2021 to accomplish this feat.

Say whatever you want about Williams, but possibly more than any other QB in the NFL, when the game is on the line, you know who's going to come up in the biggest way.

The Bears take on the Rams next this Sunday, and Williams will certainly be looking to make some more big-time throws.
