Today, Chicago Bears head coach and general manager Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles met separately with the media in an exit interview-style press conference. They had quite a bit to say regarding the season and their team.
They referenced all the successes of this last season while also mentioning that they mean nothing moving forward and that there is much work to be done. They also discussed a number of players, from guys set to return next year to free agents.

One player who obviously came up was franchise QB Caleb Williams, who had an outstanding year two.
Outside of being brought up in high regard by both Johnson and Poles, Williams also made some less-covered news on social media. The Chicago QB was caught fueling a rumor surrounding a player who many Bears fans have at the top of their wish list this offseason.
Did Caleb Williams just endorse Maxx Crosby as a Bear?
The Bears have a very important offseason ahead of them as they look to continue and improve upon the success they were able to find in the 2025-26 season.
Part of that is building out a team in the offseason to compete in one of, if not the toughest, divisions in all of football.
They currently have a solid core of players and coaches to accomplish that task, but improvements can always be made. One area of the team that could use a bit of improvement is their defensive line.
Although they have talented players like Montez Sweat and Austin Booker, the pass rush lacked at times, and against some of the elite QBs in the league, you need to have a consistent pass rush.
One name that's been consistently brought up has been the Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby, and today, Caleb Williams may have issued his seal of approval.

During the exit interviews, some people noted that when asked about Maxx Crosby, GM Ryan Poles had a bit of a sheepish grin. Personally, I didn't see that, but fans ran with it.
A post was made with Crosby edited into a Bears jersey with the caption reading, "It's gonna happen." That post was liked by Caleb Williams.
This is fresh off of Crosby absolutely gushing over the incredible throw Williams made at the end of regulation to take the Bears into OT against the Rams. It seems as though he may want to end up in Chicago, too.
Whether the Bears look to make a massive move like a trade for Crosby, or build out more comprehensively across multiple free agents, this offseason will be imperative to make sure they're not a one-and-done success story.
