Chicago Bears fans are buzzing with excitement ahead of Monday's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. With Ben Johnson stepping in as head coach, there's fresh optimism. On Monday's edition of "The Rich Eisen Show," actor and Bears superfan Ashton Kutcher captured the hope and passion shared by supporters everywhere.
He believes the Bears defense will give Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy and star receiver Justin Jefferson a difficult night.
"I don't think that there's any chance that JJ has a shot against our defense," Kutcher said.
He highlighted the Bears' secondary, saying the defense will "disguise coverages and bracket" Jefferson.
"It's going to be nasty for the Minnesota Vikings tonight," he predicted.
Kutcher also noted McCarthy's limited college experience, calling him "basically this kid" who has played the equivalent of one season of college football. "I just don't think he's ready for what’s coming at him tonight," Kutcher added.
