The Chicago Bears sit atop the NFC North heading into Week 16, and with a matchup against the beat-up Green Bay Packers without Micah Parsons, the Bears can clinch a playoff berth and be in great shape to win the division with a win.
But such a scenario won't come easy, especially with the injuries to Luther Burden and Rome Odunze. Both could miss this week, and yet, that's not the most pressing issue for Chicago.
On the Bears' injury report ahead of Week 16, during Wednesday's practice, running back D'Andre Swift popped up with a groin issue, was limited in practice, and now faces some concern over his availability in Week 16.
Bears' RB D'Andre Swift added to injury report for Week 16
Swift was not on the injury report during Tuesday's walkthrough, but on Wednesday, he was listed as limited with a groin issue.
This has been an injury Swift has dealt with all season long. Ben Johnson described this groin issue as a chronic one, and while Swift has played most of the year, he could be at risk of missing this week with this mid-week add.
The Bears play on Saturday, on a short week, so his status for this weekend's game is a bit more in question than if it were a Sunday or Monday game.
If he cannot suit up, then Kyle Monangai will get the bulk of the work, and while Swift has been great, Monangai leading the charge wouldn't be the worst for the Bears.

But this groin issue is one that Swift's dealt with all season, and that could be a good bit of news. If this were a new injury, then his status would almost certainly face more questions. This is an injury he's had all year, and this could just be a load management day.
The only reason why this is a lot more worrisome than previous reports is that he wasn't on the team's Tuesday injury report, and instead was a mid-week add on Wednesday's report.
He still has a chance to go, with Thursday's practice being a telling result for Swift. But this update is one to pay close attention to the rest of the week, leading up to the massive Packers Week 16 matchup in Chicago on Saturday night.
