Tetairoa McMillan entered the NFL with high expectations after he was the Carolina Panthers' pick with the No. 8 overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft.

So far, McMillan is answering the bell. The rookie wideout entered Week 12 with 748 receiving yards and four touchdowns and has looked the part of the No. 1 wide receiver the Panthers were hoping to get.

However, McMillan isn't doing much of anything early on against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.

Here's why.

Is Tetairoa McMillan playing tonight?

UPDATE: McMillan is on the board with his first catch on Carolina's third drive.

UPDATE: Still nothing for McMillan after the Panthers' second drive, which ended with a terrible interception in the end zone on the fourth play of the drive.

Yes, McMillan is active and in the lineup, he just hasn't gotten a look from quarterback Bryce Young yet.

Carolina's first drive didn't move the chains, so McMillan didn't get much of an opportunity to get the rock.

McMillan has not been blanked in any game this season, so his bagel on the box score isn't going to last long. We'll see if he can get going on drive No. 2.
