Rico Dowdle's season is going so incredibly well that he's even calling his shot now.
Video released by the Carolina Panthers reveals an incredible sequence from their overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Footage and audio shows Dowdle asking and telling anyone who would listen to run a particular screen pass.
The Panthers called it.
And Dowdle nearly housed it, stepping out of bounds barely.

This is cool: #Panthers RB Rico Dowdle told RB coach Bernie Parmalee, OC Brad Idzik, and HC Dave Canales late in the 4th quarter that they should call a screen.

Man, good thing the Cowboys let Dowdle go. They couldn't use him at all right now.
Dowdle has been an amazing signing by the Panthers. They brought him aboard to be the backup to Chuba Hubbard. But then when Hubbard was hurt for two games early in the year, Dowdle went over 200 yards from scrimmage in both.
Since then, he's maintained most of this star turn.
He ran 19 times for 45 yards on a mostly slog of a Week 11, but he had five catches for 55 yards, including the big one.
At this point, there doesn't appear to be anything Dowdle can't do.
