Right when it seems like Bryce Young has it figured out, this happens.
And the bad version of Young showed up at the worst possible time for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Young threw for a career-low 54 yards in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
He did run for a touchdown, but that felt like a moot point by the end of the game, when other results came across the board, too.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers also lost, a defeat to the Miami Dolphins, one that had set the Panthers up perfectly.
If Carolina had simply beaten the Seahawks, they would've clinched the NFC South Division with a game to spare and not even needed Week 18.
But now, it all comes down to one game.

The Panthers and Bucs will play Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET. The winner's season will continue. The loser's season will be over.
At this point, it's anyone's guess as to which Young will show up.
Carolina needs him to look like the guy they thought they were getting when they chose him No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
But right now, it seems just as likely that Young will put up a dud. It's a total coin flip with him, which is not what you want out of a potential franchise quarterback.
