Carolina Panthers fans could have reason to celebrate again next year, as Greg Olsen is a strong candidate for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2026. This follows the recent enshrinement of former Panther Jared Allen, who was inducted on Saturday.

Olsen, widely regarded as the Panthers' best tight end in franchise history, is eligible for the Hall of Fame class of 2026. Over a 14-year career primarily with the Panthers, Olsen compiled 742 receptions for 8,683 yards and 60 touchdowns, ranking him among the top six tight ends in NFL history in both catches and yards.

He played in Super Bowl 50 with the Panthers in the 2015 season, where Carolina lost 24–10 to the Denver Broncos. Olsen recorded four catches for 41 yards in the championship game.

Despite Olsen's strong career, his path to the Hall of Fame is challenging because several tight ends from his era have multiple All-Pro selections and Super Bowl wins.

His legacy as the franchise's leading tight end will give him a credible Hall of Fame case. However, voters will weigh his peak brilliance against competition from other candidates.

Olsen is more likely to be a multi-year candidate for the Hall of Fame rather than a first-ballot inductee.
