For the second week in a row, the Buffalo Bills find themselves in a less than ideal kicking situation.

Michael Badgley was elevated from the practice squad and will again be the Bills' kicker, this time against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in Week 17.

Badgley made a 41-yard field goal a week ago for Buffalo. He also missed an extra point (while making two).

The Bills don't have another choice at the moment.

Why is Michael Badgley kicking, not Matt Prater or Tyler Bass?

The Bills have Michael Badgley kicking because Bass and Prater are both hurt.

Bass hasn't played all season after being injured in the preseason and never healing up.

Prater will miss his second game this week. He has a quad injury and has been deemed "week-to-week" by head coach Sean McDermott.

That brings in Badgley, who kicked previously this season for the Colts and has kicked for a handful of teams in the NFL.

Badgley is rather accurate from short range, but he doesn't have the longest-distance leg.

The Bills will still be hoping Prater can heal up by the playoffs.
