The Buffalo Bills are without their top pass catcher on Thursday night.

No, we're not talking about Keon Coleman. This is about Dalton Kincaid.

The star tight end has been effective throughout the season for the Bills.

But in a key AFC matchup between 7-3 Buffalo and the 5-5 Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football in Week 12, Kincaid isn't out there.

Why isn't Dalton Kincaid playing tonight?

Kincaid is out with an injury for the second consecutive game.

He left action a few weeks ago after hurting his hamstring, and he hasn't gotten back on the field since.

When is Dalton Kincaid coming back?

The hope will be for Kincaid to get back to action on Sunday in Week 13.

The Bills get a mini-bye after their Thursday night game, because they don't have to play this upcoming Sunday, so it's essentially a 10-day stretch before they take the field again.

It's not clear for sure that Kincaid will be good to return by then, but it gives him as good a chance as any.

In the meantime, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes will continue to be Buffalo's main tight ends with Kincaid out.
