Dalton Kincaid is coming off a big game and has looked like the tight end the Buffalo Bills always hoped he'd be.

But they won't have him in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.

The Bills ruled Kincaid out, one of two key skill position players who will miss MNF, along with Curtis Samuel.

Why isn't Dalton Kincaid playing on Monday Night Football?

Dalton Kincaid is inactive for MNF in Week 6.

He's nursing an oblique injury.

Kincaid was limited in all three official practice reports, which is better than not participating but apparently wasn't enough to get him on the field vs. the Falcons.

Beat reporter Alex Brasky summed up Kincaid's importance in this post on X:

"Tough to overstate how badly the Bills need Dalton Kincaid to play through his oblique injury against the Falcons Kincaid leads the Bills in yards receiving (287), touchdowns receiving (3) and 20-plus yard receptions (6) Atlanta is allowing just two receptions to TEs per game but hasn’t faced a talent of Kincaid’s caliber this season."

But the Bills won't have that player on the field vs. Atlanta.

Bills' TE depth chart

With Dalton Kincaid out, the Bills have two main tight ends:

  1. Dawson Knox
  2. Jackson Hawes

They do have another tight end on the practice squad in Keleki Latu, but he wasn't elevated for this game.
